Nelson Gomes is the founder and principal technology consultant of Priority One Consulting Group. With over eighteen years experience in information technology, he has been employed specifically in the healthcare industry for the last twelve years beginning as a network analyst and project manager for the Valley Hospital in Ridgewood, New Jersey. He attributes his proven proficiency in healthcare information technology to a solid foundation built during his years of experience at the Valley Hospital.
He both relied on and built upon his hospital background when he was selected as the technical project manager for the multi-million dollar PACS (picture archiving communication system) project for Baptist Health in Montgomery, Alabama.
